Half Day City
One of South America’s largest metropolises, Buenos Aires is in every way a global city. On this 4 hour sightseeing tour, discover the unique blend of foreign and domestic influences present in the city’s highlights. The tour begins with the Plaza de Mayo. Commemorating the independence of Argentina, the square is home to its colonial government building, the Cabildo, as well as the Casa Rosada presidential palace. Also at the square is the imposing Neoclassical facade of the Buenos Aires Cathedral. Next, visit July 9th Avenue, the most important street in the city and one of the widest in the world. Its signature landmarks are the Obelisk, built for the city’s 400th anniversary, and the Teatro Colon, whose acoustics are world renowned. Finally, tour the barrio of La Boca. Built by Italian immigrants, it is famous for its multi-colored buildings and festive atmosphere.
Full day Fiesta Gaucha
On this 8 hour tour, experience the natural beauty and vibrant culture of The Pampas. A vast rolling grassland, the Pampas are home to Argentina’s Gaucho culture. Gauchos are the traditional inhabitants of the region, living as horsemen and cattle herders. Much like American cowboys, they hold a special place in the folklore and identity of Argentina. From Buenos Aires, the tour will lead northwest through the scenic countryside, arriving at the Esctancia Santa Susana. Here you will enjoy a day of open-fire barbecue, horse riding, and displays of both Gaucho skill and traditional dances.
